Ok so this book was done completely lazy. No thought was put into how this would be designed or implemented. What information is here is nice but you are not getting the full story. There are 21 Pokémon movies but this only talks about 12 and they jump around bypassing some but including others. This came out in 2017 so it’s not like this is an old book. Very disappointed in this limited movie companion that portrays itself as a complete history. Some of the good things I liked for my daughter was it described the main character Pokémon with its stats but then for Entei it doesn’t. Was this intentional or did they have really bad staff working on this. My 4 older and now 1 younger child grew up on Pokémon and we love it but this book was a huge let down.
My kids are into Pokemon. Their knowledge was limited to their friends and cousins. I wanted them to broaden their understanding. The book has definitely expanded their knowledge of Pokemon and what each can accomplish.
It’s a nice book. But it’s missing some movies. Plus my child, who is a Pokémon fanatic, points out some stuff that is mixed up or wrong.
