I’ve had hard copies before, but wanted the convenience of digital. The only thing I dislike is I had a hard time getting to drug classification. In the hard copy, you can easily see the different classifications and go straight to them (like cardiac - calcium channel blockers and beta blockers). But the digital still contained all the same information that I needed.
Almost everything I wanted in a drug reference book, though missing pictures of the pills. So, I might not have remembered the correct brand of nursing drug reference book. It has good information and easily laid out.
All of my classmates that bought other drug books got an online digital version of their book included with the hard copy they bought. I bought this book because our nursing program recommended it. I also like Elsevier products. I assumed that since it was an Elsevier product, it would have an online version through the Elsevier site. It doesn't. There are some feature online, but that's it. I was pretty disappointed. I should have made sure before purchasing.
I was actually disappointed in this edition. There were many drugs not in this edition. The book was difficult to navigate.
Perfect book for nursing school! Very in depth and informative but not difficult to understand

Handy for work...got it to replace my old one
