good young adult sci fi. I could see teens relating to the protagonists in feelings of alienation resolving into belonging. There was some "heavy breathing" but the young men were respectful and became honorable boyfriends. I'm not a teen, but I enjoyed the books
Great series of book each characters carry over to the next book. Each loss princess find love and their protecter action and romance
These three stories were compelling and responsible for a lot of lost sleep on my part! Try them and you'll not be disappointed.
I quite enjoyed reading Lost Daughters of Atlantis Collection. I have read the books before and enjoyed them then as well. I always love a good mermaid story. Each book is unique and tells the story of one of the lost daughters of Atlantis. Each story has a good balance of romance with other aspects of each of their stories. I enjoyed reading their backstories and getting to know each sister. I have read other stories by this author and will continue to read more of them. I would highly recommend this box set to anyone who enjoys YA romances reads. I would also recommend it to anyone who enjoys mermaid stories.
The aspect I enjoyed most about this series was the world building. I enjoyed reading about how things worked, who people were to each other, and what was going on in the universe. What a fun story! There is some romance, but its not overtly sexual. I think this series will grow to be something even more fun with subsequent books!
This collection of the first 3 books in the series are fun and entertaining. They are age appropriate and still engaging for an adult reader. There is action and adventure to be had by all. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a clean, adventurous paranormal read. I requested an ARC so that I could post an honest review.
I love this series. Its just my cup of tea. And for it to have book 1 through 3 for $.99 was even better. Its definitely a great read.
I voluntarily read this series given to me at no charge by candid reviews. All opinions are my own.Book one Riptide: this was a bit of a sad story at first due to the main Pearl's past, how she was raised. I like how there aren't tail transformations in this, she's just a bit extra. As an adult I can't say I approve of the yes small age gap, but I understand it and appreciate that it's was very well written (not sexual).Book two Red Tide: I spoke too soon about the books being non sexual. There wasn't any blatant sex, but definitely not something I'm comfortable with children reading. Coral is naive, sheltered, but made to think she's less than she is. This was a good installment in the series, but the powers are a bit confusing in this. In the first book they explained what the powers could be for Pearl and it would have been nice to have that.Book three Rising Tide: The series has it's first family unit. Maris is an award winning swimmer, but never been in the ocean. She's naive and doesn't listen to her intuition, like most teens. This was a very interesting series, and definitely suited for a younger adult audience even with the romance.
